Trivia is a knowledge game wherein traders answer questions to determine the extent of their knowledge over something. Well, in a trading trivia competition, participants train and increase their trading knowledge and skills. It’s where sharp minds meet fast reflexes to determine the ultimate trading guru.
What is a Trivia Competition in Trading?
A trading trivia competition pits traders against each other to answer a series of trading-related questions.
The trader with the highest score by the end takes the crown. Trivia challenges are not just about bragging rights; they are one of the best ways to sharpen your trading knowledge and prove you’re the best.
How Do Trivia Points Work?
Your points determine your position on the Trivia Leaderboard. Here’s how you score:
- Correct Answers: You get points for every right answer.
- Speed Bonus: The faster you answer, the more points you get.
The leaderboard updates live, so you can always see where you stand.
Tracking Your Progress
During the competition keep tracking:
- Leaderboard Position: This is displayed on the left-hand side of your screen.
- Correct/Incorrect and Points Earned: You will be able to see on the right whether the answers were correct/incorrect, with the points you received.
At the end of the competition:
- View Performance: Go in your dashboard to the tab Trivia and click Competition – there you will see all your answers and the Leaderboard.

- Entry Fee: None (Free to enter!)
- Number of Questions: 20
- Total Available Points: 2,000
- Maximum 500 traders can participate – the sooner, the better.
- One Account Per User: Let’s keep it fair, let’s keep it fun.
- Scoring: Accuracy and speed are in points, so answer correctly and quickly for maximum score.

How to Join Trivia Competitions?
15 seconds before the competition starts, you will be redirected to the immersive view.
At that point, the 15-second countdown continues until the first question appears. We call that time/state “Waiting Lobby”.
For example, if the user logs in when the 10th question has already started, they will have to respond to the question with the remaining time or might even have to wait until the next question (11th question) starts.
After every question, there is a 5-second wait for the next question to appear.
If the user responds to a question, and there is still time left for that question, they will have to wait until the time for the current question ends (their score will not be affected) and then they will need to wait 5 seconds until the next question.
The leaderboard will refresh and recalculate the points when the time for every question ends. At the same time on the right side, the question with the score the user earned (if any will be updated).
After the last question is answered, there will be a loading animation and then the final results are displayed on the screen.

- Not Registered users can see the question but not the answers. They will see a Join Competition button instead. (if registration is open)
Leaderboard and Results
The leaderboard will update in real-time with standings and scores.
After the final question, a loading animation transitions you to the final results page.

Where can I see my ranking during the competition?
The leaderboard appears on the left side of the screen, showing all participants’ scores and the current leader. Your position and total points are displayed at the top for easy tracking.
How do I earn points?
Points are awarded based on accuracy and speed. The faster you answer correctly, the more points you’ll earn, helping you climb the leaderboard.
Where can I review my answers?
After the competition ends, go to the Trivia tab and select the relevant competition to review all your answers. You can also access this from the My Competitions tab by clicking View Leaderboard.
