How to Register for Free Day Trading Competitions
In today’s guide, we’ll walk you through the process of registering for a free day trading competition on BullRush. These competitions are a great way to test your skills, compete with others, and potentially win cash and prizes. Let’s dive in!
Types of Competitions on BullRush
BullRush hosts a variety of competitions, including:
- Daily Trading Competitions
- Weekly Trading Competitions
- Monthly Trading Competitions
In this article, we’ll focus on the Day Trader Competitions.
Step-by-Step Registration Process
1. Log In to BullRush
- Once you log into the platform, you’ll be directed to the Home Screen.
- Here, you can see all available competitions.
2. Identify the Day Trader Competitions
Day Trader Competitions are labeled as “Day Trader” followed by the competition date.
These competitions are available Monday through Friday and last for a full trading day: 5:00 p.m. Eastern to 5:00 p.m. Eastern.
3. Register for the Competition
- Click the Register button next to the competition you want to join.
- These competitions are free to enter.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions by checking the box, then click Join Competition.
4. Automatic Account Creation
- When you register, BullRush automatically creates a Match Trader Account and registers it for the competition.
- You’ll receive your username and password for the Match Trader platform.
5. Access the Trading Platform
- Return to the Home Screen and access the Match Trader platform by right-clicking and opening it in a new tab.
- Copy your username and password to log in.
Finding Your Account Number
On the BullRush Platform
- Locate your account number in the table on the Home Screen. For example, if your account number is 21600, you’ll use that to access your competition account.
On the Match Trader Platform
- After logging into Match Trader, find your account number in the upper left corner. For instance, you might see 21600 listed there.
- Click on that account number to start trading.
Tracking Your Performance
Leaderboard Access
- After registering, the competition dashboard will update to show a Leaderboard option.
- Click on the Leaderboard to see your rankings.
- You can search for your username to check your performance. For example, if you haven’t placed any trades yet, it may show you are 14.51% behind the leader.
Metrics Dashboard
- Every competition has its own unique dashboard. Click Dashboard to view detailed metrics, including:
- Account balance and equity
- Loss limits
- Percent return
- Highest rank achieved
- Most traded product
- Win rate
- Total traded volume
- Average P&L for winning and losing trades
- Average trade duration for winning and losing trades
- For longer competitions, you’ll also see daily P&L data and a summary of all trades for each day.
