Fantasy Football Week 4 Recap & Week 5 Preview

Another week is in the books, and man, was it good. We saw possibly the biggest upset of the NFL 2025 season, as Jaxson Dart led the New York Giants over the Los Angeles Chargers. Kenneth Gainwell ran all over the Vikings’ defense to get the win for the Steelers in Ireland, the Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Baltimore Ravens, and many other outcomes arose that surprised football fans.

Today, we will break down some of the biggest storylines from an incredible slate of games from fantasy football Week 4.

Malik Nabers Tears ACL

The New York Giants’ star wide receiver tore his ACL during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Nabers, the Giants’ first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, was a pro-bowler in his first NFL season. Nabers was carted off when he was targeted near the endzone by Dart in the second quarter. Unfortunately, the loss of Nabers leaves the Giants with next to nothing in the passing game.

Expect Wandale Robinson and Darius Slayton to take on a bigger role in the Giants’ passing game.

Ashton Jeanty Bursts onto the Scene

Ashton Jeanty had by far the best game of his career on Sunday, rushing for 138 yards and a touchdown. He added two touchdowns and 17 yards through the air. After a disappointing first three games, Jeanty took advantage of the subpar front seven of the Chicago Bears.

The Raiders play the Colts next, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up that Jeanty will replicate his stats in week 5.

Woody Marks Takeover in Houston?

Woody Marks rushed 17 times for 69 yards and one touchdown. He added four catches for 50 yards and a touchdown in the receiving game. Marks, a rookie from the University of Southern California, had played mainly in the pass game going into Sunday’s game against the Titans. The Texans dominated the Titans, winning the game 26-0.

Was Mark’s increased workload a sign of more to come, or was it just because of the game script? Personally, I see Mark taking over the backfield. Nick Chubb has looked wasted, and Mark’s presence provides a spark that the Texans’ offense desperately needs. If Joe Mixon remains on the sidelines, Marks looks like a potential league winner!

Are You Ready for Week 5?

Now that fantasy football Week 4 is in the books, we can look forward to Week 5. The Week 5 slate includes intriguing matchups, such as the Denver Broncos at the Philadelphia Eagles. Another matchup to watch will be on Thursday Night Football, where the Los Angeles Rams host the San Francisco 49ers in a big-time NFC West battle.
