Top 5 Wide Receivers for Fantasy Football 2025 Rankings
Get your fantasy football draft cheat sheets ready. We are officially in fantasy football draft season. Let’s look at the top 5 wide receivers ranking for fantasy football for the NFL 2025 season.
Who do you think will crack the top 5?
#1- CeeDee Lamb
Ceedee Lamb finished the 2024 season as the WR8 overall. His season came as a slight disappointment, as he was the WR1 overall during 2023. With Dak Prescott returning from injury, expect Lamb to lead the league in receptions and be a potential triple crown candidate.
#2- Ja’Marr Chase
Ja’Marr Chase dominated the NFL last season, and I don’t expect that to change anytime soon. With Joe Burrow throwing him the football, Chase will be a lock to crack the top 3 every season, barring injury.
#3- Puka Nacua
Puka Nacua faced injuries in 2024 after finishing as the WR3 overall in his rookie season. The Rams added superstar wide receiver Davante Adams during the offseason, which should open up the middle of the field for Puka. Don’t be surprised when Puka averages close to ten catches a game.
#4- Nico Collins
Before his hamstring injury last season, Nico Collins was on pace for a historic season. He was the WR2 overall during his early-season stretch, scoring 22.7 points per game.
For context, Ja’Marr Chase scored 23.7 points per game last season. That led all wide receivers by five points. With CJ Stroud entering his third season, expect Collins to find the endzone at a high rate.
#5- Drake London
Drake London was tied for the WR1 overall during his three games with Michael Penix Jr. at quarterback. Penix now gets a full offseason receiving first-team reps, allowing for an even better connection with London. With the Falcons not adding much depth at the wide receiver position during the offseason, expect London to get fed the ball repeatedly.
Next Up on the List
Justin Jefferson narrowly misses my top 5 list. Jefferson has been nursing a hamstring injury throughout training camp. While the Vikings have downplayed the injury, Jefferson’s lack of practice time is concerning.
The Vikings are starting JJ McCarthy, who missed the 2024 season due to a knee injury. McCarthy needs time to build rapport with his top target, and it seems that rapport will have to be built slowly throughout the regular season.
NFL Draft: Did I Miss Someone?
Is there anyone who surprises you that didn’t make the fantasy football 2025 list? It seems a wide receiver comes out of nowhere every year to make the top 5. For example, Nacua did precisely that in his rookie year. With the season approaching quickly, use this list to help you make those hard decisions towards the beginning of your drafts.
