What’s Next for the Buffalo Bills? 2025 Game Predictions
It is no secret that the Buffalo Bills have a chip on their shoulder after losing to the Chiefs in the 2024 NFL playoffs for the fourth time in the past five seasons. Fueled by frustration, they have burst out of the gate to a 3-0 start. The Bills have defeated the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins.
Today, we will break down the next five Bills games. If the Bills can dominate their upcoming stretch, there is no question that they can be the front-runners in the AFC.
Game 4: New Orleans Saints (W)
The Bills will dominate the Saints on both sides of the football in week 4. Don’t be surprised if Josh Allen doesn’t play in the fourth quarter of this one. The Saints will be overmatched entirely on both sides of the football. With Spencer Rattler leading the charge offensively for the Saints, it would be a surprise to see them score more than 14 points in this ballgame. My two cents will be on a 38-10 win for the Bills.
Game 5: New England Patriots (W)
The Bills host division rival New England in week 5 of the NFL 2025 season. Second-year quarterback Drake Maye leads the Patriots. While Maye is an ascending quarterback, I don’t see him outdueling reigning MVP Josh Allen in this one. While the Patriots will put up a fight, the Bills’ offense will be too much for the Patriots to handle. My prediction is a 27-20 win for the Bills at home against their division rival.
Game 6: @ Atlanta Falcons (W)
The Falcons pose the most significant threat to the Bills since their week 1 defeat of the Ravens. The Falcons feature an offense led by all-pro running back Bijan Robinson and budding star wide receiver Drake London. The Bills’ defense has shown they are vulnerable on the ground, giving up a whopping 169 yards and two touchdowns on the ground to Ravens’ running back Derrick Henry in week 1.
I am back and forth on this game, but I am not picking against the MVP. Give me the Bills in a shootout, 38-34 win on the road in Atlanta!
Game 7: @ Carolina Panthers (W)
Coming off the week 7 bye week, the Bills travel to Carolina to take on Bryce Young and the Panthers. I expect the Panthers game to go similarly to the Saints game in week 4 for the Bills. The Panthers will be outmatched entirely on both sides of the football. Don’t be surprised if this one is over early. My eggs will go in the 45-7 basket in the Bills’ favor.
Game 8: Kansas City Chiefs (W)
It is revenge time for the Buffalo Bills, but the Kansas City Chiefs will do everything they can to spoil the Bills’ 7-0 start to the season. The Chiefs expect to be full force by week 9, with Rashee Rice back from his six-game suspension.
The Bills will find a way to win in a game that fantasy football owners and NFL fans can’t keep their eyes off of. I predict a 27-24 Bills’ win that will come down to the final play. With the win, the Bills will cement themselves as the favorites in a stacked AFC.
Can the Bills Make History?
If the results above hold, the Bills will have a chance to make history. Only two teams in NFL history have finished the season undefeated: the 1972 Miami Dolphins and the 2007 New England Patriots. It won’t be easy, as the Bills still have the Eagles, Buccaneers, Bengals, and a rematch with the Patriots in their final nine games. While an undefeated season is unlikely, the path is there for the Buffalo Bills to make history!
